Roy Purcell, nearly 40 years ago on his personal journey, came to the desert. In the silence of the desert he listened and was taught. Roy is one of the most recognized western artists in the region. His subject matter is diverse. He has devoted much energy to his study of Mormon, Hebrew and Egyptian historical icons. His current obsession is with a series of mythological goddesses. Today Roy is focusing his creativity on the myths of the goddess throughout history. Roy believes that only through developing it's feminine side will society save itself. We must rely on women's nurturing instincts to repair the land and salvage the psyche of mankind.  Roy Purcell, reader, poet, essayist, accomplished botanist, naturalist, outdoorsman, folklorist, photographer, western artist, truth-seeker, will lead you on a journey to find the goddess within you. He will introduce you to many of the goddesses throughout time and history.
